Let’s be real – my kids get PLENTY of gifts for Christmas and birthdays. Rather than have presents for days, I’ve started asking our extended family to give our family the gift of a membership to one of the many places around the valley that my kids love to go.
I compiled a list of popular places with prices and terms to make your research easier. Enjoy!
A family membership will run you $179 and includes admission and benefits for two named adults (or one named adult and a second “flexible” guest) and up to four children ages 3-17. Kids two and under are always free at the zoo. Visit the website for the list of benefits.
Their membership program is real simple: $125/adult and $60/child (aged 3-12). I like this place because you can go year round – the aquarium when it’s hot and the zoo the rest of the year!
Their memberships are based on the number of people, not their ages. $125 will get you admission and benefits for 2 people; $160 for 3 people; $195 for 4 people; $230 for 5 people; $265 for 6 people; and beyond!
OdySea calls these Annual Passes. They are currently running a special and the prices are as follows: $131.80 for 1 adult + 1 child; $207.70 for 2 adults + 1 child. Each additional child is $55.90.
This fun place has something for kids of all ages. Their membership tiers are $100 for 2 people, $145 for 4 people, $200 for 6 people, $300 for 8 people, and $600 for 10 people. One of the benefits to this membership is that it comes with some free guest passes. Now your kids can invite their friends!
I hope this helps and feel free to add your favorites in the comments! (PS. This would be great to send to Grandma!)
